Power

"Freedom from mental distraction equals power."

-- Dan Millman

It's all about concentration of energy. If your mind is all over the friggin' place, like a schizoid, ADHD rabbit on crank, your power is spread all over hell's half acre. Spread yourself too thin, your mind too thin, and your power is thinned accordingly.

On the other hand, calming, centering, focusing leads to a massive concentration of personal power. You can actually feel the energy build in your body, in your mind, even in your sphere of influence.

What does this mean in practical terms? Quit multi-tasking. Practice meditation. Set aside a certain amount of time each day to focus upon one important thing. You build your power by building your mind's capacity to concentrate. It's as simple as that.
